A beautifully tailored, double breasted navy blue hip length peacoat by Alexander McQueen.  It has a dramatic, wide notched collar, in contrasting black velvet,  and 3 double sets of buttons.  Unusually the buttons, which feature an anchor design, only fasten on the top pair.  The jacket is quite small across the bust and hangs slightly open as shown.  

There are side slit pockets and a deep back vent.  The sleeves have inner cuffs which are knitted ribbed black wool.  Fully lined.
